Second Stimulus Check Payment Package 2009, 2010
62Second Stimulus Check Payment Package
Taxpayers who have not already received their stimulus payment, or income tax rebate for 2008, now have a second to do so. Also, if you filed a 2008 return but have not received your stimulus check, the IRS has resources to help you track it down and be sure you get paid. If you wish, you may start by calling the IRS hotline at 866-234-2942.
And if you did not file a return in 2008, you may still qualify for the stimulus check upon filing your 2008 return after January 31, 2009.
Under the present law, no taxpayer is entitled to receive a second stimulus payment, unless the law is modified because of the dire economic circumstances we now face.
So how do you know if you qualify and what should you do if you have not received your payment yet?
You are qualified for the rebate if:
- The taxpayer or taxpayers have at least $3,000 in qualifying income from, or combined with, Social Security benefits, Veterans Affairs benefits, Railroad Retirement benefits and earned income.
-
You and every family member listed on your return have valid Social Security numbers.
-
You are not a dependent or eligible to be considered a dependent on another taxpayer’s return.
If you have not applied for your stimulus check, all you have to is file a return. You may do this electronically or by mail. You may also decide whether you want the check direct deposited into an account or to receive the check by mail.
The federal government is going out of its way to be helpful to taxpayers in being sure all stimulus checks are received. The belief is that the more money you have in your pocket and the more you spend, the sooner we can pull out of the recession.
TurboTax will automatically notify you if you qualify for a stimulus payment. Visit TurboTax Online to learn more about the stimulus check package.
So be sure to claim what is yours – file that missing return today!

There are always jobs out there too many people just want hand outs and think hard work is beneth them. If it takes sweeing the street to feed my family I would do it before accepting a hand out, By the way I found a website that give you prizes for your opinions and 4 play games here is the topic about this:
unfortunately in to some extent i agree with the person above who's name is mildred but what i do not agree with is what she is judging all young people who have children and just to let u know I am a young mother of three and I bust my ass every day at my job to support my children and give them what they need so I don't have to depend on the government and yes i do get some help but that does not mean that i do not work u should not judge all young people the same cause i am a single parent raising my kids and I work a full time job so i won't be judged by people like u. I think that maybe u should learn not to judge unless u know the facts and I can understand what u r saying cause I have a grandma who is struggling like u. Don't judge us all the same cause we r not all the same and i apologize if i offend u but it is the truth WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME
The goverment can help big bussiness and banks what about working class americans who pay taxes. Tax breaks may help at tax time but what about NOW.Its time to give some money to the people who need it now not at tax time Obama you want to be rembered as good President or one only cares about Goverment and Big Bussiness.DO THE RIGHT TING FOR ONCE WHILE IN OFFICE!!!
There will not be a 2010 stimulus check
I have always heard about, disagreed withthe treatment of and understood the plight of our seniors(now I am one). We are so mistreated by OUR government, the government we have supported for so many years. Yet our young people recieve all the benedits we worked so hard for and we are forgotten about and NOT taken care of. We recieved no increase in 2010 and have been promise no increase in 2011, yet our heatlh insurance and co-pays increased and I'm sure will increase in 2011, gas prices are steadily increasing, but we have no relief in sight.
Thank God for our congressmans who have so little respect for the seniors, yet they are crippling our young people who have no incentive to work. Their only incentive is to continue to have children to increase their supply of food stamp, housing, free schooling (yet no jobs), and free money.
What a great county we live in.
We are in a recession people have suffered long enough. The people that are disabled should not ave to suffer. We really could use that 250.00 since there was no cost of living ajustment. Please consider this carefully. We really need this payment.
why does social security people have to suffer because of government votes we need that 250 dollars since we get no cost of living raise, the cost of food is high, utilities are high, gas prices are high, we need help
Right now there is no official 2010 stimulus check yet, but there will probably be a $250 check handled like in 2009. Since the $20/paycheck tax credit from 2009 carries over to 2010, along with all other first time home buyer and unemployment benifets
can you please updaten the inofrmation on the2010 payments.
will there be a stimulus plan on med ins and any other plans for 2009/2010?

Hello,all,
my comment is especially for "Elizabeth Jones" whom left a pretty
bold statement, 19 monthes ago. I never reply to these comments but, in her case i will make an exception ! You, my dear lady have a lot to learn about people ! There are many of us whom would be
only to glad to take a job as a sweeper or, a ditch digger or, even a crash car dummy ! If it were available. And so would 400 other people applying for the same jobs...and only one spot is available ! so, in closing let me just say that that you, my good
lady [and i use the term loosely] are a dumb bitch ! i bet your not married, huh ? and, if you are...i feel sorry for the guy that is
suffering through that marraige ! pull you head out of your ass
and look around you ! spoiled bitch ! thank you ,
